We loved this message sent through from a recent Slumber Tribe slumber party host in Melbourne. In this case it was an Aunt that had enjoyed the slumber party teepee experience with her niece. There is no doubt that glamping appeals all ages. We actually get lots of questions about recommended maximum age limits and we usually find that 14 year olds are the upper level for these glamping slumber parties. The mattresses are 160cm long so they can just accommodate the average 14 year old boy or girl. Of course you can always throw a cushion down the end and extend the mattress relatively easily. It was a great pleasure to attend and contribute to the annual Murdoch Children's Research Institute Kew Mums Garden Party this year. Slumber Tribe is a proud donor to this worthy cause which helps to develop treatments for various childhood conditions. The least we could do was donate a kids slumber party hire voucher for auction and our dolls slumber teepee was a bright addition to the auction table. New Slumber Party Dreamcatcher Kits
We seem to be booking lots of slumber parties for the bigger kids and teenagers so we've decided its time to expand the Slumber Tribe product range to better cater for them. Its worth also pointing out that our Slumber Tribe slumber party hire mattresses are 160cm long and based on the averages that caters for boys and girls up to 14 years of age. Anyway we've just added a new dreamcatcher kit that is designed for the bigger kids from say 11 and up or younger kids with parents assistance. Given that kids slumber parties tend to be about five children we don't think planning for extensive parental assistance for each child at the slumber party is the best idea. So in short just buy the the dreamcatcher kit for the bigger kids and leave the junior kit for ages 10 and below. The kits are all beautiful and well tested by us at Slumber Tribe. After experimenting with a few of our own slumber parties we decided to add these fantastic cards for sale as an extra. There are 48 conversation cards in a set and you only need one set for your next sleepover party. We found the cards especially useful when some of the kids at the party don't know each other that well. We don't often write blog articles on customer sleepover parties but this one from the weekend was simply fantastic. Using our Sorbet Dreams slumber party hire theme and our laser disco light system, the host (mum) then went to a lot of effort to add the finishing touches to the slumber party setup. You can see from the picture below that balloons and lighting really created a magical sleepover environment for the kids. The night sky effect on the laser light adds a nice touch when reflecting off the balloons. This really shows that with a little bit of thought you can turbo charge a slumber tribe slumber party and really take it to the next level. Well done mum!

For the last few months we've been busy behind at Slumber Tribe working on our slumber party hire expansion plans both interstate and within Victoria. The recent media stories have really kicked things along and taken our brand to the position we wanted it - namely to be the number one bespoke slumber party hire provider. So now we welcome our first licensee in Victoria assisting with Metro Melbourne sleepover party bookings. We will run a full profile in a few weeks, suffice to say that Kylie brings many years of experience as both a mother of two young girls and a professional dance instructor for children of all ages.
